Noel Pacarrro Brown is deeply passionate about bringing about greater consciousness into the world of finance and exchange. Her work centers on wealth as relational as opposed to wealth as transactional. For her, money is a medium that can be guided for healing and hope, if rooted in humanity and collective intention.


As a Financial Advisor and Investing with Impact Director she leads the Conscious Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, a multi-generational wealth management team providing sophisticated financial planning and investment management to mission driven families, founders, and foundations. She’s a national thought leader invited to speak on impact investing and the evolution of wealth management while serving on industry boards and councils.


Noel has published multiple white papers in industry journals, and who has spoken on podcasts and conferences. She gathers her insights from top economists, theorists, academics, as well as activists, community leaders.

Durell Coleman

Fortifying Institutions and Individuals through Systems Innovation

Durell Coleman is the namesake founder and CEO of DC Design, a social impact design firm on a mission to eliminate multigenerational poverty and uplift Black, brown, and low-income communities in the United States. Through a combination of Design Thinking and Systems Thinking, he and his team help nonprofits, foundations, and governments better define community needs, develop strategy, and design solutions to some of America’s most pressing social challenge. In his journey as a designer, Durell has worked to redesign aspects of the foster care system, develop new approaches to criminal justice reform, reimagine healthcare service models, create apps that connect communities, and develop new educational models for the 21st century. His work has led to reductions in mass incarceration, homelessness, economic inequality, Black infant mortality and more. Trained in mechanical engineering (B.S.) and sustainable design (M.S.), he is a two-time alumnus of Stanford University and its famous Institute of Design (the Stanford d.school).


As a social entrepreneur and educator, Durell is passionate about creating a world of abundance and helping students realize their full potential. He serves as a lecturer at the Stanford University d.school, Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and University of Texas Center for Integrated Design where he teaches entrepreneurship, design thinking, leadership, and social change. He has taught design thinking to refugees designing solutions to challenges in refugee camps, school leaders seeking to redesign the culture of their school, students seeking to create a more inclusive campus, and corporate executives from Sony, Oracle, and Santander. He is the creator and director of Design the Future - an award-winning STEM program run in collaboration with top universities that teaches high school students to design products for individuals with physical disabilities. His original research is the basis for the 5 Systems of Black Inequality video series. He is an expert in multi-stakeholder, human-centered design; has been awarded the Jefferson Award for Public Service as a result of his work; and is one of the subjects of the PBS documentary: “Extreme by Design,” which is used as a design thinking teaching aid all over the world.

Louis leads the development of new personal devices enabled by AI for HP. Previously he led several startup incubation businesses for HP including a 3D printed medical device business and an award-winning 3D scanning, projection computer - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprout_(computer).


Louis has written theologically-oriented essays on the principles of gift economies and their relevance for industry and on the history of social movements. He has lectured on leadership and design at Yale, Pratt, ESADE (Spain), Art Center College of Design, focusing on the impact of the inner life of a leader on outward results. Louis is currently researching topics in end-of-life/palliative care and currently volunteers for hospice.


Louis serves on the boards of Yale Center for Faith and Culture and the Institute of Ecological Civilization. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Yale.

Pioneering Water Innovation in Las Vegas

For over 25 years, Pat Mulroy has been a pioneer and leader in the international water community. Pat

was highly engaged in addressing regional and national water-related matters, and her dedication to this

cause continues to show throughout her extensive career. Pat has served as the general manager of one

of the most progressive water agencies in the country. She spearheaded Nevada's delegation in crafting

numerous agreements with neighboring states in the Colorado River Basin as well as Mexico.


Pat uncovered the fascinating journey of Las Vegas, where dreams of thriving in the desert have become

a water innovation reality. Explore the city's innovative path through a labyrinth of sustainable practices,

forward-thinking policies, and community involvement, demonstrating that even in the harshest of

environments, sustainable oasis living is attainable.


She has pursued her education at various institutions, earning a Doctoral Studies degree from Stanford

University, an MA and a BA, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Pat serves on the Wynn Resorts

Ltd Board of Directors, Board of Bowman Consulting, and as a member emeritus of the Water Research

Foundation Board of Trustees. In previous years, she was on the board of the National Water Resources

Association and served a member of the American Water Works Association and was the original

chairperson of the Western Urban Water Coalition. Pat was also the first woman to chair the Association

of Metropolitan Water Agencies.

Reinventing Schools as Community Hubs to Support Families & Kids to Thrive

Kanecia is a physician-scientist and critical care pediatrician with a profound passion for seeking answers to new and challenging questions to help the youngest members of society – kids. This mindset has set her on a course of relentlessly reimagining what might be possible and rounding up the necessary partners and supporters to translate ideas to reality.


In 2023, Kanecia co-led a historic effort to secure $50M in Department of Education funding to support a robust new vision for full-service community schools across five counties in North Carolina. The North Carolina Community School Coalition aims to improve the academic, mental, and physical health of students by directly addressing hunger, housing instability, lack of physical and mental health care, and other factors impacting children’s ability to thrive. 22,000 kids and their families will be served and the hope is that once these systems are established, they can be scaled across the state and serve countless kids for years to come.


In 2021, Kanecia co-founded the ABC Science Collaborative, a national public health initiative funded by the NIH. This consortium of scientists and experts partners with school leaders, local health departments, school communities, and government stakeholders to interpret COVID data and help schools make data-supported decisions for child and family wellbeing. She also oversees multiple other NIH- and FDA-funded projects and initiatives, including the NIH’s effort to address Long COVID through clinical trials, and was awarded a 2023 Emerging Leader award at Duke University.

We’ll begin where the original land grab took place, tour old Las Vegas, Zappos.com and the strip and end up at the Sphere. This other worldly entertainment venue of the future cost $2.3 billion to build, is the world’s largest spherical structure and contains the world’s highest-resolution wraparound LED screen.















Our guide Brian “Paco” Alvarez is a Vegas native, Anthropologist, entrepreneur and one of Las Vegas' preeminent cultural arts experts. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Leadership from the School of Public Policy and Leadership at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at UNLV and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. His passion for art and culture has been the driving force behind his career.
